Ugandan women have, on average, 5.9 children. Many would go through pregnancy and child birth without any professional medical support. *
For the next two weeks Cotton On KIDS will be on a mission to change this, and we’re right behind them!
Together, we want to raise $60k to build a new healthcare centre in the community of Namabaale, Southern Uganda, which will provide much-needed medical facilities to children and families in the village.
From now until April 4, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Cotton On Foundation products in Cotton On Kids stores go towards the centre – an incredible opportunity for kids to help kids.
Alongside the infrastructure costs of the building, the project will fund:
· Lifesaving medical equipment and fit out of the new Health Care Centre
· Immunisations for children against preventable diseases
· Medicines and supplies
· Medical staff including a midwife, clinical officer, enrolled nurse and lab assistant
· Transport assistance for patients and health care workers conducting rural home visits
Head into any Cotton On Kids store in Australia or New Zealand to pick up a Cotton On Foundation product today, and rest assured you’re making an immeasurable difference to littlies in Uganda.
