Cotton On Foundation ambassadors and comedy duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have joined forces with Cotton On to launch a limited edition bottle of water in the lead up to World Water Day on March 22.
Not Just a bottle of water, the proceeds from each sale will go straight to projects that provide much needed clean water facilities in Southern Uganda, where over eight million people in rural regions don’t have access to clean drinking water.
Priced at $2 and available in Australian Cotton On stores from 18 March, we want to reach $200,000, which would mean five boreholes, four underground water tanks, one dam and water treatment systems for seven primary schools in the region.
We've been working with the Aussie comedians since 2015, when Andy went to Southern Uganda and saw first hand the impact our projects are having on the community.
“Since my trip to Mannya, I’ve been inspired by the impact Cotton On Foundation projects have on the lives of people in need. A community that once lacked basic health and education facilities now has over 70 classrooms, the region’s first HIV education centre and installed nine bore holes giving nine communities access to fresh water, and much more,” said Andy.
“100% of the proceeds from the sale of our water go towards much needed water projects. That means the cost of the shell bikinis we are wearing in our limited edition water bottles were totally covered by us. So when customers purchase this bottle of water, they are doing a lot more than just hydrating."
Make sure you head into store to collect your limited edition water today - don't miss out!
